Then it was on to the finish up list.  With the wings installed I could finally trim the root doublers. I am installing a rubber ‘h’ channel strip to make a nice seal at the wing roots.

I want to leave a 3/16” gap for this to fill. If you remember, I have these pieces temporarily installed offset by 1/2” outboard. So I made a tool with a hole just big enough for my blue marker to fit in and put the hole 11/16” from the end. I then drew lines on both and trimmed off the unneeded material.

The last two pictures show the newly trimmed doubler installed in the correct position. The very last picture shows the rubber seal test fitted.
