Picking right up where I left off…

The boring stuff had ended and the spar was reassembled and ready to be made ready for riveting.  I started by loading up all the rivets (mostly flush ones) from the inboard end through to the end of the spar web doubler.

I set the flush head rivets into the dimples by putting the bucking bar as close to the rivet as possible and then strike the rivet head with the Sonex Rivet Tool. This sets the countersink better than just dimpling.

      Here is a rivet – the one on the right – before and after having been set this way.
