With the fuselage polished, it was time to move onto the wings.  As Kathy says, “they are big.”

The wings are rolled out for some work in the first picture. The wing tips aren’t riveted on yet but have been updrilled, deburred and are ready to be installed at the airport. The pitot/static and AOA probes still needed to be attached, so I used the base plate I highlighted in the last post and positioned them and drilled the four mounting holes and a locating hole for the center cutout as shown in the second picture.

I also finished riveting the root doublers as shown in the third and fourth pictures.
