As I noted in the previous post, the center sub panel is stiff enough but the channel it is mounted too flexes quite a bit.  I found some scrap that had two sides of 1” angle ripped down decided to use it to tie the front and rear channels together.

The first two pictures show the angles mounted to the sub panel.  I had to make two small notches in the bent area of the sub panel to allow them to sit flush.

      These two pictures show the angles attached to the rear channel. The last picture shows an unanticipated issue. Now that the front channel is held flat, Enigma comes down further than I anticipated. It is clearing the angle by about 1/32”.  That is fine if it doesn’t get worse when I attach the frame to the glare shield.  I think it will actually get better but I will have to wait and see.
