A few more changes after the last post.  I reorganized  the plan for locating items on the firewall.  After thinking about everything for the last time, I finally got started attaching things to the firewall.

This is the first item – the battery box.  Sonex has a location and plan for the battery box but I have moved it to the opposite side of the plans.  I also wanted my battery box to open up so the battery could be pulled out at a forward angle as large parts will be above it on the firewall.
      To make the hinging door and the top hold down strap, I had to drill some hinge. Here is a picture of the old jig I made. I haven’t needed this for a long time.  Then start attaching the hinges.
