So here is the start of the next step, getting ready for wing drilling. I am just slightly out of order as I will finish a few minor steps before I drill the wings, but with the boys over today, I took the opportunity to have them help me get the wings down and reposition the fuselage.
It was a carefully choreographed move. First the right wing came down with the garage door closed. It can’t come down with the garage door opened. With the wing down and held by the boys, I opened the garage and we set it down outside (you can just see it in the third photo). Second, we repositioned the fuselage to the far end of the table and turned it 90°.
